Today, my four year old got mad that he couldn't find his favorite character on the Wii. So, he decided to smash the Wii remote into my $700 LCD TV, shattering the screen. That was the only TV in the house, and the $80 service plan I bought doesn't cover accidental damage. FML

I agree, your life sucks (15782)
You totally deserve it (4544)

Well... It doesn't seem like it was an accident....

#1 - 11/19/2009 at 7:39pm - amynicol

I agree #1.
OP Smack your kid for being such a brat. I'm not just saying that either. Growing up I know I would have gotten my ass kicked if I'd ever, EVER done something like that. No I'm not 30+, I'm eighteen.

#40 - 11/19/2009 at 8:39pm - CFR

If they don't cover accidents, what do they cover?

#84 - 11/20/2009 at 2:05am - Reyo

Ah yes. The FML comments aren't complete until someone talks about how terrible America is despite the fact that the statement bears only the most superficial relevance to the story.

#113 - 11/20/2009 at 12:03pm - pleasetryagain

lol thats what i was thinking. if they don't cover accidental, do they cover on purpose? worth a shot :)

#126 - 11/20/2009 at 8:43pm - RedJester23

Not sure if you guys are being serious but typically electronics insurance only covers the equipment if it breaks due to a manufacturing problem or something. For example, if the television had hardware problems and broke on its own because it wasn't manufactured/handled properly by the manufacturer or retailer, then insurance would cover it.

#132 - 11/20/2009 at 10:28pm - HookEmTexas07

You let a four year old play a Wii? deserved it

#2 - 11/19/2009 at 7:40pm - hamburglar

Uhh most games on the Wii are meant for children...so stfu.

#21 - 11/19/2009 at 8:10pm - dspadres

a 4 year old with a temper, they shouldn't

#24 - 11/19/2009 at 8:13pm - davidomke

Not 4 year olds, idiot.

#55 - 11/19/2009 at 9:13pm - allie2590

she shouldn't have let him play unsupervised, so ydi.

#61 - 11/19/2009 at 9:36pm - hanShotFirst

Uhhh... my niece was getting near perfect scores in Wii bowling when she was TWO. It wasn't even just that she knew how to hold a button and swing a remote and got lucky. No, she knew how to get in to the game, select her character and go. TWO. Kids are waaaay more advanced than we give them credit for.

As for supervising the child, yes, he probably should have been better watched, but even watched, kids can do a lot of damage in a split second.

#104 - 11/20/2009 at 9:30am - Improbability

#55 Why do you think the games are reated 3+? Yeah I think 4 is after 3 -.-

#111 - 11/20/2009 at 11:15am - Visho

You've got some issues too:

a. Your parents had a kid
b. and they didn't know how to educate it
c. You have a ridiculously nice thing (PC) to have in the same household as a troll.
d. Someone bought a fucking troll a PC.

#114 - 11/20/2009 at 12:31pm - arienh4

teach him how to act civilized?

#3 - 11/19/2009 at 7:40pm - k43L1

Exactly. The kid needs to learn how to behave and control his anger. FYL for being a failed parent.

#49 - 11/19/2009 at 8:58pm - wtfwts

sounds fake.... i saw something like this on a viral video a few days ago.

#4 - 11/19/2009 at 7:43pm - xoxcinderellaxox

i was gunna suggest a beating, but i suppose banning him from tv and video games for a couple months might work

#35 - 11/19/2009 at 8:33pm - brutallyhonest24

What TV is he gonna watch anyways?
=)

#65 - 11/19/2009 at 9:48pm - dudeitsdanny

Agreed. I say you let him watch all of the TV and play all of the video games he wants. Any reason why he isn't able to do so sounds like a personal problem...

#86 - 11/20/2009 at 2:27am - Reyo

um, beating up a small child? rly u r sick D:

#158 - 12/02/2009 at 4:54pm - higurashil0v3

ummm 4 years old? not small my little sister got popped on her hand when she was 1 for throwing things around the room 4 more than old enough for a beating

#161 - 12/05/2009 at 7:06pm - dethstruk

1) Safety sleeve on the Wiimote. They come with those bad boys.
2) Supervise your toddler when he is using expensive things.
3) YDI, totally.

#5 - 11/19/2009 at 7:45pm - pope_suburban

agree 100%

#7 - 11/19/2009 at 7:47pm - krissypoo

While I'm sure that would help, those sleeves are really more for keeping your grip on the remote.

honestly, I want to say YDI because a.) you're letting a young child play unsupervised with something that expensive; and b.) Apparently he's not been taught not to throw things when he gets angry.

#18 - 11/19/2009 at 8:07pm - hawknight

The sleeves prevent the remote from slipping not protecting things that you hit. And we don't know that he wasn't being supervised. It might have just happened too fast for her to stop him.

#33 - 11/19/2009 at 8:30pm - fieldhockyluva24

I was thinking that the standard ones are giant and squishy, so that they could seriously reduce the likelihood of a toddler putting the Wiimote through the TV. I know flatscreens are pretty fragile, but I gotta figure the cover that came with the Wii would have been a good idea.

As for the supervision, I doubt any sensible person would be letting their angry kid get close to the TV. I'm sure you've got something to say about that (Probably "You don't know what it's like to have a kid!"), but really, I can't see this happening so fast that there was absolutely no warning or recourse.

#38 - 11/19/2009 at 8:38pm - pope_suburban

uh. it said "decided to smash". He was angry because he couldnt find his character.

he didnt accidentally let it slip out of his hand. He threw it or hit the TV with it.

and nobody should say its the parents fault for not supervising their kid. As a parent you should not be waiting 4 feet from your kid staring at them in a sprinters stance ready to pounce at a sign of them about to do something bad or about to get hurt. She could have been sitting on the couch when he flew off the handle.

But you SHOULD at least put enough threat into you kids head to give them the idea that if i do some bad stuff, im gonna get in big trouble or get the shit beat out of me.

#57 - 11/19/2009 at 9:14pm - imeverywhere

Lol. Remotes that are made giant and squishy... They oughta make a remote that is mostly made of rubber on the outside, so when angry children like the OP's little brat get the bright idea to throw it at an expensive TV, it bounces off and comes back to hit them in the face.

Haha, I can't say I wasn't an angry child when I was little though. But the thing is, the worst thing I've ever done was throw a controller onto the floor. I wouldn't dare throw something at something else that could break and get damaged, because I probably would get spanked. I had some kind of slight developmental delay though that was probably caused by some emotional or behavioral problem I had as a little kid. But I don't know about the OP's son.

To the OP, I'd probably have to say YDI.

#62 - 11/19/2009 at 9:40pm - ROFLDOCTOR

That child has issues...

#6 - 11/19/2009 at 7:45pm - werzal

YDI for1. letting a 4 year old play with the wii unsupervised 2. Not having your tv mounted out of reach of your tot. 3. teaching your child not to throw their toys.

Seriously mounted up high the little one wouldn't of been able to throw the remote through it. I hope you grounded him and have learned your lesson that 4 yr olds and expensive electronics don't mix.

#8 - 11/19/2009 at 7:49pm - Hermyoni

You don't have accident coverage with a 4-year-old in the house? YDI.

#9 - 11/19/2009 at 7:51pm - nyxiny

.. That's why the Wii isn't meant for just anyone!

#10 - 11/19/2009 at 7:51pm - 5upernova

Well, do you happen to have a belt in the house? Time to work $700 out of that behind...

#11 - 11/19/2009 at 7:54pm - BlazeZakuPhantom

He should use the Wii chord.

#22 - 11/19/2009 at 8:10pm - mercyFML

lmfao agreed

#43 - 11/19/2009 at 8:46pm - onehotdemon

Sounds like you need to take that boy outside to play anyway.

#12 - 11/19/2009 at 7:54pm - anjyu22

so many things wrong with that situation it's disgusting..... definitely a YDI.

#13 - 11/19/2009 at 7:55pm - MissSparkie

Do NOT replace the TV and Wii... you're gonna need ALL the $$ you can scrounge for bail and criminal defense.
And put a solid door on your bedroom, with a STRONG lock...

#106 - 11/20/2009 at 9:41am - kukopia

YDI. Let me guess you sat him in the naughty corner? HAHAHAHAHA

#14 - 11/19/2009 at 8:04pm - bored690

How the hell could a 4-year old behave like that? MAJOR issues. He sounds disgustingly spoilt. Totally deserved.

#15 - 11/19/2009 at 8:05pm - Crittz

Well... It doesn't seem like it was an accident..

Yeah, that was no "accident".

#16 - 11/19/2009 at 8:05pm - scarletlily

Is this lifted from a Southwest Airlines commercial?

Why didn't you make him wear the damned wrist strap?

Also, I'm a bit suspicious -- an American house with only one TV in the whole house? I could accept if the OP's family was po' white trash that only had one TV per room, but one TV in the whole house? We didn't get to be the fattest nation on Earth by neglecting essential technology like TV!

#17 - 11/19/2009 at 8:06pm - perdix

Exactly. I've never been in a house with less than three.

#37 - 11/19/2009 at 8:34pm - seanreddog

I only own a TV for the purposes of playing video games. It's not a flat screen, and it cost me about 300 bucks 6+ years ago. If you are spending big bucks on a TV, it's very likely, especially in a one-parent house, that there is only one TV. Or it could be that, like me, the OP just doesn't watch TV, and only uses it for games or movies. It's not unheard of, not everyone considers wasting away in front of the TV and acceptable use of time..

OP, YDI for letting your kid play video games instead of making him use his imagination. on top of all the previous comments about how you are a crappy parent...

#58 - 11/19/2009 at 9:17pm - Monkeybuttorama

My family only has one TV. There is no need for more. Plus I don't like TV these days.

#137 - 11/21/2009 at 8:36am - pegasus77

our house has 5 tvs and 5 ppl so i cant beleive the ONLY tv in the house. maybe the best tv but watever. if my brother did that i would beat the shit out of him

#167 - 02/01/2010 at 11:55pm - kooldrew3

you should have helped your son find the character so your falt 

#19 - 11/19/2009 at 8:07pm - zaq857

It's not too late to parent that child.

#20 - 11/19/2009 at 8:10pm - aback

Well your son sounds like an accident.

#23 - 11/19/2009 at 8:12pm - dspadres

whoa... 4 year old with issues, lol. he's gonna make u proud some day, lmao

#25 - 11/19/2009 at 8:15pm - jessxoxo28

What kind of parent are you??? You only bought your 4 year old a Wii and a $700 LCD tv??

If you really cared about your kid you would buy him a PS3, an xbox AND a Wii and a $2000 tv!

And you would buy him whatever video games he wants, including GTA. And when he gets mad and breaks something, you would immediately replace it so that he doesn't get his feelings hurt.

Now go be a good parent.

#26 - 11/19/2009 at 8:15pm - FerrariCake

I bet the worst disciplice he ever received was a "time out."

#27 - 11/19/2009 at 8:16pm - skyeyez9

Exactly.

#30 - 11/19/2009 at 8:21pm - metal27928

Not even...
Probably a half-hearted "no" or a "please don't".

#164 - 12/07/2009 at 2:55am - StripedOne

I sure hope you beat the sh*t out of that spoiled little brat. But I guess you wouldn't, and that's why he acts that way.

#28 - 11/19/2009 at 8:19pm - metal27928

I seriously hope this was a one time freak accident and not typical behavior for your kid, and you beat that boys ass for busting the tv.

#29 - 11/19/2009 at 8:20pm - skyeyez9

Do they have anger management classes for toddlers?

#31 - 11/19/2009 at 8:26pm - spotty313

You deserve it for having the TV raise your kid instead of yourself.

#32 - 11/19/2009 at 8:29pm - capthavoc123

And with that, topic solved.

#154 - 11/23/2009 at 8:50pm - theandysho

If your four year old thinks it's acceptable to smash things then you deserve him smashing your things. Do us all a favor and teach your kid that smashing doesn't solve problems before he grows up into a spoiled self-absorbed adult with anger issues.

#34 - 11/19/2009 at 8:31pm - lostfaithinpppl

YDI for wasting $80 on a plan that doesn't cover anything.

#36 - 11/19/2009 at 8:34pm - litz2010

Destroy his wii. Then ground his ass and tell him that he's never getting allowance in his life because he's paying you back for the TV :)

#39 - 11/19/2009 at 8:39pm - ReplicasWaifu

YDI for letting a 4 year old play Wii unsupervised. and if you say "but I wuz watching him", then you're an idiot for giving him the oppurtunity to do it.

#41 - 11/19/2009 at 8:39pm - Gitsandshiggles

Is it just me or is $700 not that expensive for an LCD tv? Or at least not expensive enough to mention the price. Still sucks though.

#42 - 11/19/2009 at 8:40pm - wazdog

For working American citizens, $700 is a lot of money to waste that could be put to use in better ways. Even if they did have an extra $700 I am sure they would have rather spent that money towards a vacation or something, rather than buying another television.

#63 - 11/19/2009 at 9:43pm - Erniesduck123

tvs are cheap and big nowadays mine was 450 a year ago for 26 inch

#168 - 02/01/2010 at 11:58pm - kooldrew3

beat that fucker

#44 - 11/19/2009 at 8:48pm - killurbeer

Lets just say she was supervising him...could you get up off the couch in the time it takes to throw something? Probably not! Parents cannot watch their children 24/7. Its just not possible.

#45 - 11/19/2009 at 8:50pm - Erindub

and a 4-YO cannot come close to throwing anything hard enough to break an LCD screen. stab with, yes, throw, not likely.

#59 - 11/19/2009 at 9:21pm - Monkeybuttorama

Maybe the kid has down syndrome? They can be really strong.

#103 - 11/20/2009 at 9:28am - fieldhockyluva24

Your life is fucked because your kid is a little shit and you have to deal with it for fourteen more years. Good luck!

#46 - 11/19/2009 at 8:51pm - noshitsherlock

Ouch. That's kids for you.
I hope you find a good way to teach your kid about how to manage anger.
And no, I don't believe violence is the best solution to /this/ case. :]

#47 - 11/19/2009 at 8:52pm - wingedspiritus

YDI for not teaching your kid that he's not allowed to smash TVs. Beat that kid.

#48 - 11/19/2009 at 8:57pm - potatopeeler

48 is right
BEAT THE SHIT OUTTA THAT KID!!!

#50 - 11/19/2009 at 9:06pm - KCID_GIB_ATTOGi

ydi for having a crappy tv. not not rich btw

#53 - 11/19/2009 at 9:08pm - magenkyo

spanking is in order

#54 - 11/19/2009 at 9:11pm - alphaxzero

You deserve it for not teaching him how to properly express his emotions. Yeah, all little kids throw tantrums, but there's a difference between screaming a crying and violently destroying things. Kids don't just come up with these things on their own.

#56 - 11/19/2009 at 9:14pm - glasswater

The kid needs to be taught some manners, but violence might be counter productive for a 4 year old.

#60 - 11/19/2009 at 9:28pm - carage

Someone needs to get the belt.

#64 - 11/19/2009 at 9:45pm - DeathShad0

How about you smash the Wii remote into his face? That should teach the little shit a lesson!

#66 - 11/19/2009 at 9:54pm - anniebananie

Everyone complaining about the TV - kindly STFU, my family had the same TV for 10 years and will keep it until it completely dies. And it's the only TV in the house. We don't have any video games. (I'm 13, not 30+, I just prefer to spend my time talking to people. Face to face. :o ) (Hell, now I sound like I'm no fun. :P I just don't watch TV much. And my parents never bothered to get channels.)

And I don't think that this is realistic. How fragile is TV glass? And how strong are 4-year-olds?

#67 - 11/19/2009 at 9:56pm - rakhil11

lol any electronic will break easy unless its built for smashing

#169 - 02/01/2010 at 11:59pm - kooldrew3

YDI:
You had a kid. What the fuck were you thinking? AND you let him use the 700$ TV and the Wii?
WTF?

Anyways. I feel bad for the TV, not you. Unless you got landed with the kid via some stupid chick's 'oh btw, i'm pregnant' deal, then I feel very sorry for you and the TV.

#68 - 11/19/2009 at 9:58pm - fourzerofour

YDI fail parent

#69 - 11/19/2009 at 9:58pm - lolwatlol

That kid should not be allowed to watch tv, play video games, or have friends over for 3 months. Only need to do it once. trust me.

#70 - 11/19/2009 at 10:08pm - Pointy130

no coverage for accidental damage?
then good thing this wasn't an accident lol

but i vote both fyl and ydi..

#90 - 11/20/2009 at 7:15am - murder1215

I have 5 boys. Beat the shit out of him one time, take away ALL hi tech toys until he is old enough to pay for them himself. NO TV EXCEPT Sesame Street or a learning show once a day. BOOKS...

2 of mine saved EVERY DIME from every allowance and all their gifts until they could pitch in and buy a nintendo at 8 and 10. I bought them 2 games a year after that. Oprah said the best gift you can give your child is teaching them to work at an early age-- I guess so- mine are all hard workers and have everything. 15-24 now. BTW, you are more likely to take care of things YOU had to work to pay for.

#91 - 11/20/2009 at 7:37am - AlaskaRaven

That is a very spoiled child. He needs therapy.

#92 - 11/20/2009 at 7:37am - ragsy

Therapy? Why spend money on something a wooden spoon can cure? Spank the kid, and no electronics 'till he's 12. 4-year-olds don't need Wii, and they don't need psychoanalysis.

#123 - 11/20/2009 at 8:08pm - Chopperman

#95 - 11/20/2009 at 8:21am - jafar

bratty kid.

#96 - 11/20/2009 at 8:38am - jacobithegreat

does it cover intentional damage? Take your kid outside to play instead of video games. He clearly has energy he needs to burn off. And maybe punish him once in a while.

#97 - 11/20/2009 at 8:59am - Bob31

I really hope you beat his ass redder than the devil's pj's.

#98 - 11/20/2009 at 9:05am - Vertoule

YDI for letting your 4 year old play a Wii unsupervised, also because you probably bought the Wii to keep him out of your way so you can do whatever you want without having to worry about him.
He's 4 years old, he would have been perfectly content to play with the simplest of toys if you hadn't introduced him to gaming.

#99 - 11/20/2009 at 9:06am - Gizmo3K

that's really fuckedup

#100 - 11/20/2009 at 9:10am - mrzero

my 6yr old lives to play Monopoly on the Wii. Fortunately, she does not have a nasty temper and knows not to throw objects out of anger (especially in the house).

#101 - 11/20/2009 at 9:11am - skyeyez9

#91: that is true! My friend has a 13yr old boy and he is a spoiled brat. Mom buys him every latest new gadget and he doesnt take care of them. Two days after he got a psp, he lost it. He lost a cell phone too. His mom bought him an iPhone to replace the lost one. He has a very expensive computer in his room that looks like shit cause he never cleans it (prob doesnt run the anti virus either I suspect). He earned none of it, has everything given if he whines enough.

#102 - 11/20/2009 at 9:16am - skyeyez9

YDI for having a kid.

#105 - 11/20/2009 at 9:31am - littlebird20091

Why does everyone assume the kid wasn't supervised? Anyone who has had any interactions with 4 year olds know that they're tempermental and can get pissed and start throwing things in a second without warning.

OP: That sucks. I personally would not have let a 4-year old play with something so expensive at all. They can be unpredictable. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson when he realizes that he won't be watching TV for a while.

#107 - 11/20/2009 at 9:52am - PhillyFox

Dont buy a car for him when he gets older.

#108 - 11/20/2009 at 9:59am - Satara

y don't u jus buy a new one. seems like u have money to buy a 4 year old a wii

#109 - 11/20/2009 at 10:30am - stuckonarock

That's not true. My little brother is 5 and has been playing wii regularly since he was 3. Pretty sad, he gets first place on rainbow road in mario cart every time and is able to beat everyone in our family.

But my point is, the OP probably hasn't taught her child correct ways to express his/her emotions if he reacted this badly. And don't give me the crap that the child is only 4, because if you reinforce it enough they will understand.

#110 - 11/20/2009 at 11:01am - indianabummer

Just because a small child CAN play expensive video games on an expensive tv, doesn't mean they SHOULD. There are children who CAN drive cars competently as well (raised on farms etc, it's legal if not on a public road, at least in my country).

#139 - 11/21/2009 at 2:16pm - keilah

True, not all children should, but if the child acted out in this way I'm assuming he would act the same even if wii and TV were not involved.

Behavioral problem is still a problem no matter what circumstances it involves. Which was what I was trying to get at, I guess I didn't do that so well.

#156 - 11/25/2009 at 6:08pm - indianabummer

YDI for not putting that little rubber thing on there to begin with...

..take that either way you wish...

I say you deserved this. Your kid is a total brat...of your making. Accidental coverage? This was a deliberate act....you will have to buy a new everything, but I'd ban your kid from the Wii first.

#120 - 11/20/2009 at 4:33pm - teeda

YDI for having a dumbass kid.

#121 - 11/20/2009 at 5:03pm - Jacks_Penguin

get your child a psychiatrist

#122 - 11/20/2009 at 5:26pm - arielsais

YDI. Wii is not an appropriate toy for a 4 year old, it's been proven over and over again that video games stunt kids that age developmentally. Your kid should know a LOT better by the age of 4 than to throw something in a tantrum, and not only was your kid not playing with an age appropriate toy you obviously weren't supervising him. I would be too embarrassed about my parenting to post this in the first place.

#125 - 11/20/2009 at 8:12pm - mattys_mama

Maybe next time you should invest in a fiberglass shield for your flat screen tv.

#127 - 11/20/2009 at 9:06pm - jonny2x4

hey, don't jump to conclusions here guys. This kid may only get to use the Wii on special occasions. Maybe when he does his writing or something, then he gets to play with the Wii. That's how my parents did it with the nintendo.

#128 - 11/20/2009 at 9:08pm - newsgit

Kids shouldn't be playing video games until they learn to read and like reading. Fill their brains with that addictive flashing lights/instant reward for tiny acheivements crap, and they'll never go back. I didn't have any sort of video game until I was 14, and it hasn't seem to have done me any harm. I'm actually capable of entertaining myself without electronics!

#129 - 11/20/2009 at 9:41pm - SaphireScorpion

if he was my kid, he would never touches another game console for as long as i live. but that's just me... unless you haven't learn your lesson. FYL.

#130 - 11/20/2009 at 9:47pm - azn_whiz

Props for only having the one tv. Sounds like your life doesn't revolve around it. i've got a 4 year old, and a wii too. No, the wii was not bought for the kid. Daddy was the one that wanted the wii. Which, with what little info I have, I assume the wii was not bought for the 4 year old or it would be hooked up to a tv in his room. And i'm pretty sure you wouldn't have gotten a $700 tv for the kid either.
Chill out people. This sounds like it was the Family's tv, and the Family's wii, in the living room. The kid just decided to be a little shit because hes 4. Whip his ass. Then ground him from the wii and the tv. Thats how they learn to behave.

#131 - 11/20/2009 at 10:21pm - LadyDraigen

use his face to smash the tv some more.

#133 - 11/21/2009 at 1:02am - mitch123456789

YDI for being a yuppie faggot who spent $700 on a bullshit TV but wouldn't spend 5 minutes disciplining their own son. When son turns out to be a loser like you, actually worse because he'll never be able to afford a TV like that without using a credit card, he'll be angry at you for not disciplining him as well.

Proverbs 22:15
"Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him."

#134 - 11/21/2009 at 3:36am - Phinehas

lmao rod of correction

#138 - 11/21/2009 at 2:44pm - alexmonty

Discipline shouldn't be administered out of anger, but out of love. Anyway, that's downright disgusting. Don't go too far!

#135 - 11/21/2009 at 3:37am - Phinehas

brat needs discipline.

#136 - 11/21/2009 at 7:46am - netbeui435

This kid needs his ass beat! Seriously beat. If he were my kid he'd be in a coma right now.

more proof that you cannot own nice stuff with children in your home.

Though if you used birth control or got an abortion you would still have your TV. truefax

#140 - 11/21/2009 at 2:42pm - mercedeslove

Jesus Christ! What is it with people and not disciplining kids these days?!?

When I was a kid, I never would have done that. You know why? Because I knew I would have gotten the belt buckle again. YOUR DAMN FAULT for not knowing how to raise your own kids.

#141 - 11/21/2009 at 8:11pm - Triard

YDI for letting your FOUR year old son play video games and act like an angry maniac.

#142 - 11/21/2009 at 11:50pm - InspiredByGaGa

WOW beat the crap out of him so he doesnt do iht again. if i was 4 and did tat i wouldnt see the light of day by my dad -.-; so YDI for letting ur 4 yr old runny nose brat play video games and act like a angry drunk

#143 - 11/22/2009 at 12:06am - GreatestxKimchi

People are so worried about child obesity and you have your four year old playing video games?Be careful you're not raising a child who will be hooked on that shit for life. Teach them to fish or something, or at least take them outside.

#144 - 11/22/2009 at 12:40am - Youd_laugh_2

*take them OUTSIDE*

#145 - 11/22/2009 at 12:41am - Youd_laugh_2

Well, maybe he will learn to curb his temper now that he doesn't have any wii nor any normal tv to play/watch.

#146 - 11/22/2009 at 4:46am - Prawn

Lucky for you because that isn't accidental damage - its intentional. :D

#147 - 11/22/2009 at 10:33am - cxal

Sounds to me like the kid needs a whippin.

#148 - 11/22/2009 at 1:56pm - Sixpakastan

what a wiitard hahahahahaha

#149 - 11/22/2009 at 2:27pm - drmike

that is why little kids shouldnt have expensive electronics. that's one of the things that get me a little irritated, when a little kid gets expensive things when they don't deserve it (not saying the OP's kid has a horrible personality, just saying A LOT of kids take things for granted.) also, do you have an only child? or do you have older children? (like a 10 year old or something like that)

#150 - 11/22/2009 at 8:12pm - WTFpancakes

this is why we wear the wrist strap

#151 - 11/22/2009 at 11:10pm - Gandalf_Baggins

smash his head into HIS tv.

#152 - 11/23/2009 at 12:23am - eyFuckmylife

I'd beat him with the peices of the tv errrr I mean I'd tell him it's ok lol

#153 - 11/23/2009 at 1:56am - Zac555

just put him the closet for a day with a loaf of bread.

#155 - 11/24/2009 at 2:26am - oreomon

Fucking take a bat and beat the hell out of that 4 yearol-......*cough*....i mean forget it and give him a 5min time out

#157 - 11/30/2009 at 1:00am - TheRetardTracker

YDI. I hope you post what you did to him for educational purposes and because we're all dying to know :-)

But I mean we're cool because... well i dont have a Wii and a tv and now you dont have a Wii and a tv...

#159 - 12/03/2009 at 12:57am - wednesday31

That's when you sell the kid for a new TV

#160 - 12/03/2009 at 12:10pm - xanxer

wow if this boy had done this to my moms t.v he would have had to file a restraining order against her

#162 - 12/05/2009 at 7:14pm - dethstruk

In my household, everyone knows that "throwing the Wii remote into the TV" equals "one broke-armed brat."

#163 - 12/06/2009 at 9:16pm - Few_Absolutes

You don't buy a four year old electronics, you buy him either something so cheap you can afford to replace it, or something he can't possibly brake.
May I suggest a rock?

#165 - 12/31/2009 at 2:13am - tacoman007

The broken TV and Wii Remote is secondary to the severity of this FOUR-year-old's temper tantrum. Hello...?!

#166 - 02/01/2010 at 11:37am - Mi_Vida

Why would you buy your 4 year old a Wii??
